TASC, Inc. today announced a strategic alliance with
InSoft, Inc. to integrate its advanced image viewer,
ImageShare, with InSoft's Communique! desktop
videoconferencing product. ImageShare enables multiple
users to access and share large images during
collaborative meetings and desktop conferencing sessions.

this unique capability to desktop

in making the announcement. "The solution for
customers in the medical, defense, aerospace, and
engineering markets."
ImageShare has been designed specifically for business
requiring high-speed interactive access to large images
up to a gigabyte in size or more. With ImageShare,
multiple users can concurrently display, zoom, and scroll
images of various types and sizes, such as chest x-rays,
at unparalleled speed. Using ImageShare in Communique!,
users can transfer files or images, displaying them in a
shared White Board space and making changes in real time.
Developed to InSoft's OpenDVE API,
ImageShare will support cross-platform desktop
videoconferencing and run across standard networks, such
as, Ethernet, LANs, WANs, ATM, FDDI, and ISDN.

ImageShare general availability will be announced in
the 2nd quarter of 1995. Pricing and licensing terms will
be made available at that time.
