InSoft® Gains Core Membership in PCWG with Unanimous Vote by 19 Leading Industry Members

InSoft, Inc., the recognized worldwide leader in LAN/WAN-attached desktop conferencing, today announced core membership status into the Personal Conferencing Work Group (PCWG) industry consortium.

The current core membership include AT&T, Compression Labs, Inc., Compaq Computer Corporation, Deutsche Telekom, Digital Equipment Corporation, Ericsson Business Communications AB, France Telecom, Hewlett Packard, Intel Corporation, Lotus Development Corporation, NEC Corporation, Northern Telecom, Novell Multimedia, Olivetti, Software Publishing Corporation, VideoServer, VTEL Corporation and WordPerfect Corporation. PCWG also includes more than 175 Consulting members affiliated with the desktop conferencing market.

According to Michael Glancy, Director, PCS & Conferencing Services for Intel, "InSoft is a valuable addition to PCWG, bringing expertise and experience in solving interoperability issues across heterogeneous environments. They have proven expertise in providing an open development environment for conferencing applications."
