  • Sun Microsystems SPARCStation & SPARC compatibles
    • Solaris 1.1 (SunOS 4.1.3) or above: Client/Viewer only
      • OpenWindows 3.1+ or Bluestone Motif 1.2+
    • Solaris 2.3 or above: Client/Viewer and Server/Station
      • OpenWindows 3.3+ or Sun Motif 1.2+


  • Hewlett-Packard 9000 Series 700: Client/Viewer and Server/Station
    • HP-VUE 3.0 or CDE
    • HP-UX 9.05 or above


  • Pentium-based Systems: Client/Viewer only
    • Pentium 60 minimum (Pentium 300 recommended)
    • Windows 95 (Windows 98 or NT 4.0 recommended)
    • Winsock 2.0 compliant TCP/IP stack (VxD architecture required)

Peripheral Support

  • Unix Systems
    • 32 MB RAM minimum, 64 MB recommended
    • 20 MB of disk space
    • 5-10 MB of temporary disk space
    • 60 MB swap space
    • 8 bit Color Display minimum, 24 bit recommended
    • External speaker(s) for audio playback recommended


  • Windows Systems
    • 16 MB RAM minimum, 32 MB recommended
    • 5 MB of temporary disk space
    • 2 MB of disk space
    • 8 MB swap space, 12 MB preferred
    • VGA Display with 1 MB+ RAM (SVGA recommended), PCI or AGP bus required
    • 16-bit network adapter with 32-bit device drivers
    • Any 16-bit Windows-compatible sound card (Sound Blaster compatible recommended)
