This drive is fairly fast, with predictable performance. From the chart it would appear that the drive is the limiting factor.

Note that in this test, the HP-UX 10.20 kernel had only very minimal SCSI-related patches applied. Let’s see what happens if we apply some more recent SCSI patches - PHKL_14225 and PHKL_13986.

(Remember the Read performance, generally above 8MB/sec, and reaching up to 9MB/sec.)
