With new SCSI patches (PHKL_14225 and PHKL_13986) applied, it appears that something has changed -- for the worse. Note that read performance has dropped dramatically, and is almost level at about 6.8 MB/sec. Quite a drop from as much as 9MB/sec!

Note also that the write performance is not as easily predicted. It too has been degraded over most of its range.

Let’s see which patch causes the problem.
