This surface chart plots the results of the io5-hp10x benchmark write phase. Each data point is the sequential write throughput observed at a given file system geometry.
The file system type is HFS - the Unix High performance File System.
The SCSI bus used is the core single ended SCSI bus. Note that this bus is normally limited to 5MB/second transfers. For all of these tests, this bus has been sped up to support at least 10MB/second transfers.
