| MDL Corporation proudly announces its Communique! Conferencing Plugin to
Dassault Systèmes CATIA CAD 4.2.0 development package. This plugin replaces the video and
audio portions of the Groupware Conferencing product that was embedded into CATIA versions
4.1.7, 4.1.8, and 4.1.9. This high performance video conferencing product enables users of
CATIA CGW to have cross-platform video, audio, and whiteboard conferences over their
networks. In addition, these CATIA users are able to hold video conferences with other,
non-CATIA users of Communique! on their network. "This is a great way for
engineers to work together, and with other departments in a company," says Steve
Newman, vice president of sales. "Prior to this, most companies were islands of
automation, separated mentally and visually from each other." MDL will sell and maintain the Communique! Conferencing Plugin directly with the end-user customers. IBM will distribute Communique! with CGW 420 for CATIA customers who have previously purchased CGW 417, 418, or 419.
