MDL Corporation DSD Product Information

The DSD driver for HP 9000 Series 700 Workstations running HP-UX 9.0x or 10.x enables those systems to access the entire capacity of disk drives and RAID systems exceeding 4 gigabytes in size.

Without the DSD driver, HP-UX prior to 10.10 is limited to the first 4 gigabytes of disk space. Even the sdsadmin and lvm utilities are unable to access beyond the 4 GB boundary.
